“98% Of Nollywood Actresses Got Car Gifts From Married, Rich Gay Men” – Actor Uche Maduagwu

Nollywood Actor, Uche Maduagwu has caused a stir after he claimed that 98 percent of Nigerian actresses received car gifts from “married gay rich men.”

The Anambra born actor publicized his gay status two weeks ago.

The openly-gay actor uttered the controversial remark via Instagram on Wednesday.

Sharing a photo of himself, Maduagwu wrote;

“Being gay is my birthright so dont try to change me ko le work naija actresses who criticize me are not God more than half of current nigerian ministers na gay and over 98% of popular actresses got car gift from married gay rich men this year.”

Wizkid has won the Nigerian artiste of the year at the 14th edition of The Headies award.

Omah Lay also bagged the influential Next Rated award ahead of Tems, Bella Schmurda, and Oxlade.

Fireboy DML was the biggest winner of the night with four awards from nine nominations.

Wizkid also won the Headies Viewers’ Choice award at the event which was hosted by comedian, Bovi and Nancy Isime.

The nominees for the awards were announced in December 2020, with Fireboy DML leading with nine nominations, while Burna Boy, Davido, Wizkid and Wurld followed with six nominations each.

Ernest Asuzu, Nigerian Nollywood actor is dead

The Nigeria movie industry has lost another of its own as Nollywood actor Ernest Asuzu is reportedly dead

According to reports, the veteran actor who some months ago went viral for begging on the streets, slumped and died around 9pm on Monday January 25.

His wife was said to have called fellow actor Desmond Elliot to announce the death to him.

Ernest Asuzu began his acting career in the ’90s and rose to prominence after he starred in the 1997 Nollywood classic, ‘Rituals’

He was the toast of Nollywood until his career nosedived after he came down with a stroke in 2015 and it affected his speech. He was also bedridden for three years.

In 2015, he announced that Jeremiah Funfeyin of Mercyland Deliverance Ministry healed him of stroke.

The cleric reportedly gave him a new SUV valued at about N3.5m and N1.5m as startup capital to help revive his career. For eight years, he battled depression and was rumoured dead at some point.

Simisola Ogunleye, popularly known as Simi has finally revealed why she’s hiding her daughter’s face.

The 32 year old singer started as a gospel singer, Simi is also a an actress.

Simi and her husband Adekunle Gold(AG baby) recently celebrated their second second anniversary. she delivered her baby Adejare Ogunleye or simply called Deja last year. Deja inspired Simi’s hit song Duduke.

Simi hosted a question and answer segment session in her Instagram page, a fan asked the singer why she has refused to disclose Deja’s face to her fans, she answered “Why don’t you want to show your babies face?”, the inquisitive fan had asked Simi who then replied, “Because she deserves her privacy.”
