There’s this saying that everyone in Nigeria is born under suppression, depression and oppression. This is not just a saying in our wonderful country, this is the truth.
The average Nigerian faces life threats from every angle. Not even the government cares about the citizens and the youths. They care more about accumulating what they call the national cake. But when you’re sharing the national cake, don’t forget the celebrant
The country claims to have gotten first class weapons to fight terrorism and insurgency but the main insurgency in our country are the police, the armed forces, and the dreaded Special Anti Robbery Squad.
Popularly known as SARS, this group was formed for the sake of stopping every form of robbery, kidnapping, internet fraud, killings and all social security problems. But they have made it their life’s aim to torture every Nigerian, to deprive us of our rights and make us useless.
They go around killing everyone with flashy cars because they presume that if you’re rich, you’re involved in internet fraud. What stupidity??!!! Does being rich label you a Yahoo boy? Aren’t they dumb??
Every young Nigerian now walks around with the fear of being harassed, arrested or shot by SARS officials. They have now resulted to killing young men who are well kept. Should we now put on rags? Should we dress like hoodlums?
They see a young man with dreadlocks and they arrest him all because of his hair. For crying out loud this is Nigeria not a secondary school. We have rights! We are humans not animals.
But we have discovered that in this wonderful country, our rights are now useless.
Recently the Federal Government passed a bill that a police man can stop you and search you without a warrant. Even arrest you.
We are now open to attacks from every side
We are not safe
No one cares about us
The government does not care
But we will not stand for it
Nigeria has created a monster it can’t kill. And no, that monster isn’t the SARS, that monster is the youths. The Nigerian youths. The ones you have killed, harassed, arrested, humiliated, attacked and done all sorts of things to
This generation will not stand for this. Enough is enough. We are tired of all the embarrassment we face everyday. We don’t care about your rights anymore or judicial contradictions
A time is coming when the hunter will be come the hunted
When the terrorist will become the terrorized
The youths have waited enough for the government, we are tired and if they don’t act quick, we will take matters into our own hands
Enough is Enough.
