Raw after TLC results 22nd December 2020

Here are the results from Monday night raw

Shayna Baszler & Nia Jax def. Mandy Rose & Dana Brooke via submission after Baszler locked Brooke in the Kirifuda Clutch. Flair opened the show by talking up how she walked into the ThunderDome for the first time and walked out as a champion. She then said that she came back because she was asked by her friend, before welcoming Asuka to the ring. The champs were interrupted by Jax and Baszler, who declared their intention to hand out “season’s beatings” only to then be interrupted by Rose and Brooke. This all led to Flair deciding that the other two teams should wrestle immediately. This led to a fairly lengthy match which was ultimately won when Baszler locked Dana Brooke in the Kirifuda Clutch. Brooke and Rose knocked Baszler and Jax from the ring apron following the match as the former champions taunted Flair and Asuka. (Raw after TLC)

Bobby Lashley & MVP def. Matt Hardy & Riddle via submission when Lashley put Hardy in the Hurt Lock. The Hurt Business were celebrating Cedric Alexander and Shelton Benjamin’s tag title win in the MVP Lounge when they were first interrupted by R-Truth and several others chasing the 24/7 champion and then by Hardy and Riddle, who cut a brief promo ahead of their match with MVP and Lashley later in the night. In the match, Hardy and Riddle immediately worked well together, hitting several team moves with impressive fluidity. Lashley was the force for his team, mostly dominating during his involvement. MVP provided just enough distraction in the end to set up Lashley to secure the Hurt Lock for the win. (Raw after TLC)

Angel Garza def. Drew Gulak via pinfall after a Wing Clipper. Garza was briefly interviewed backstage before the match and was able to make quick work of Gulak.
T-Bar def. Ricochet via pinfall after hitting Feast Your Eyes. Ricochet, of course, had to deal with Retribution getting involved on the outside. After he took them out, T-Bar got the upper hand once again. Mustafa Ali began to yell at Ricochet, leading Ricochet to attack and giving T-Bar the opening to hit Feast Your Eyes for the win. Retribution once again demanded Ricochet join their ranks after the match.

Jaxson Ryker def. Gran Metalik via pinfall after a powerbomb. This was a quick squash that saw Elias play a song while sitting on the turnbuckle during the match.
Charlotte Flair & Asuka def. Peyton Royce & Lacey Evans via submission after Flair locked Royce in the Figure-Eight. Before the match, Royce and Evans were interviewed backstage when Royce took credit for getting the match made. They were doing well in the match until constant bickering and blind tagging gave an opening for Asuka to hit Royce with a German suplex and make the tag to Flair. Flair was able to take care of Royce after Asuka took out Evans on the outside. (Raw after TLC)

Holiday Street fight Styles was interviewed backstage, saying he was “hot” and “past his boiling point” when The Miz cashed in his Money in the Bank contract during Styles’ match with Drew McIntyre at TLC, but wanted to hear what Miz had to say for himself ahead of teaming with him later in the night. Styles was then a guest on Miz TV, with Miz trying to apologize for taking advantage of the opportunity to win a world title. As Styles and Miz began arguing, Omos pointed out that John Morrison, not Miz, cashed in the Money in the Bank contract, leading Miz to demand he be given back the Money in the Bank contract. McIntyre, Keith Lee and Sheamus then interrupted, reading their own version of “The Nightmare before TLC,” the poem Miz, Morrison and Styles had read the week before. A brawl broke out to end the segment, though not before Sheamus and Lee got into their own argument after some miscommunication when Styles dropkicked Lee into Sheamus.

Despite their earlier issues, Lee and Sheamus worked well together initially. Until, that is, they began patting each other on the back in increasingly violent ways, leading to Lee hitting Sheamus with the Grizzly Magnum double-chop. McIntyre was able to get his team back on the same page to continue dominating the match through pure physicality until Morrison was able to shove Sheamus from the top rope through a table set up on the outside. An eventual hot tag to McIntyre let the WWE champion run wild, including powerbombing Styles through a table after Styles used a kendo stick. As McIntyre was about to finish the match off, Sheamus tagged himself in, but before he could hit a Brogue Kick, Lee tagged himself in. Morrison was knocked off the apron into the arms of Omos, who put him through a table. Lee then hit Miz with a Sprit Bomb for the finish. As the victors celebrated, Sheamus turned on Lee, hitting him with a Brogue Kick to the dismay of McIntyre as the show went off the air. (Raw after TLC)
